The mission of the Beaufort-Jasper YMCA of the Lowcountry is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
The Y achieves this through a broad range of activities that serve a community rich in racial, religious, ethnic, and economic diversity.

At the YMCA, no one is turned away due to their inability to pay. We believe in helping all people lead healthier, happier lives. Every dollar that is donated go towards supporting our impact programs and those in our community who are most in need. At the Y, we are more than a place. We are a cause.
Our Facility
The Wardle Family YMCA is more than just a facility. We are made up of men, women and children who come together to better themselves in mind, body and spirit. We have everything you need to grow in these three areas. We are constantly looking to improve our facilities, classes, and equipment so that you can continue to improve yourself and our community.
Our doors are open to everyone.
The Beaufort-Jasper YMCA embraces people of all ages, incomes, abilities, religions and ethnic backgrounds; we're for everyone. Individuals and families who cannot afford to pay full price for memberships or programs still deserve the life-enriching experiences the Y offers. At the Y, we never turn anyone away because of an inability to pay.
